Knights of Columbus COR Formation – Fall/Winter 2025
We are pleased to invite you to a new season of COR gatherings, part of the Knights of Columbus men’s formation initiative. COR—from the Latin word for “heart”—is an opportunity for Catholic men to grow in faith, brotherhood, and spiritual depth.
Each session begins with the Divine Liturgy at 9:00 AM, followed by coffee and open conversation around a monthly spiritual theme. These gatherings provide a simple but meaningful space for men to pray together, share experiences, and strengthen their walk with Christ.
🗓️ Fall/Winter 2025 Gathering Dates:
Saturday, September 27
Saturday, October 18
Saturday, November 29
Saturday, December 13
📍 Location:
St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church
9507 Austin O’Brien Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T6C 2V1
🎯 September Theme:
“Beginning of the Liturgical Year – Reset Our Spiritual Compass, Begin in God”
As we step into the new liturgical year, we will reflect on what it means to begin again in Christ—renewing our direction, grounding ourselves in prayer, and walking together as men of faith.
These gatherings are open to all Catholic men, regardless of parish or background. While the program is rooted in the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC), it also draws deeply from the Roman Catholic tradition, offering reflections and insights from both lungs of the Church.
👉 For now, we will begin slowly—meeting once a month. If there is greater interest, we may gather more often, perhaps twice a month, or even weekly in the years to come.
Come, pray, learn, and grow in faith with us.
In Christ,
Fr. Slavko Dumec
State Chaplain, Knights of Columbus Alberta/NWT
