Christmas Eve – Divine Liturgy

December 24, 2025 – Christmas Eve/ Святвечір – The Nativity of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Great Compline @ 9:00 p.m. the Divine Liturgy  of St. Basil @ 10:00 p.m.

After Divine Liturgy, there will be anointing with the oil “Myrovania” and distribution of the bread that was blessed at the previous service that evening.

One of the 12 Great Feasts. Holy Day of Obligation. Feast of our Lord. Great Vespers with Divine Liturgy of St. Basil is celebrated in the late afternoon or early evening on December 24. The Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom is celebrated in the morning on December 25. Holy Day of Obligation.
