Divine Liturgy — 7:00 PM
On this feast, the Church lifts up and venerates the Precious and Life-Giving Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Cross, once a sign of suffering, shame, and death, has become for Christians the sign of Christ’s victory, love, and salvation. The feast recalls the ancient Christian tradition of the discovery of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem by St. Helena, the mother of Emperor Constantine, and its solemn veneration by the faithful.
The Cross also reminds us that the Cross and the Resurrection are inseparable. Through His Cross, Christ entered fully into our suffering and death, and through His Resurrection He opened the way to new and eternal life.
As we celebrate this great feast, we are also reminded of the crosses we carry in our own lives. We do not carry them alone: Christ walks with us, and the Cross always points beyond suffering toward the hope of Resurrection.

У цей великий празник Церква підносить і почитає Чесний і Животворящий Хрест Господа нашого Ісуса Христа.
Колись хрест був знаком страждання, ганьби та смерті. У Христі він став знаком Божої любові, перемоги та спасіння. Празник Воздвиження пов’язаний із давнім християнським переданням про віднайдення Хреста в Єрусалимі святою Оленою, матір’ю імператора Костянтина, та його урочисте почитання християнами.
Хрест нагадує нам, що Хрест і Воскресіння нероздільні. Через Свій Хрест Христос увійшов у наше страждання і смерть, а через Воскресіння відкрив нам дорогу до нового та вічного життя.
У кожного з нас є свій хрест. Але ми не несемо його самі. Христос іде поруч із нами, а Хрест завжди вказує далі — від страждання до надії, від смерті до Воскресіння.
Запрошуємо разом відсвяткувати цей великий празник Божественною Літургією о 19:00, поклонитися Чесному Хресту та прославити перемогу Христа і Його Воскресіння.
