COR – Morning Prayer and Coffee for Men

A Journey of Faith and Brotherhood

COR is a Knights of Columbus initiative that brings men together for prayer, faith formation, and brotherhood. The word cor means “heart” in Latin.

At Saint Nicholas, we meet once a month, beginning with Divine Liturgy at 9:00 AM, followed by coffee, prayer, faith formation, and open conversation.

It is a simple opportunity to step away from the busyness of life and spend some time with Christ and with other men.

What Do We Do?

  • Divine Liturgy and prayer
  • Scripture and Catholic faith formation
  • Coffee and fellowship
  • Honest conversation about faith, family, work, and life
  • Encouragement and support among brothers

Our current formation includes Men of the Word, a Knights of Columbus Bible study that helps us discover Christ through Sacred Scripture.

We also use our local theme, “Casting Into Deeper Waters,” inspired by Christ’s call to the fishermen. Like fishing, growing in faith requires patience, perseverance, and trust. We are called to go deeper in prayer, faith, responsibility, and our relationship with Christ.

You Are Welcome

You do not have to be a Knight to attend.

Whether you are a longtime parishioner, a newcomer to Canada, a man returning to the Church, or simply someone looking for deeper faith and good fellowship, come and join us.

Come for the Liturgy.
Stay for the coffee.
Bring your questions.
Meet other men.
Grow together in Christ.

COR – Ранкова молитва і кава для чоловіків

Час для Бога. Час для братерства.

COR — це нагода для чоловіків зупинитися серед щоденної метушні, помолитися, поспілкуватися та разом поглиблювати свою віру.

Щомісяця ми починаємо з Божественної Літургії о 9:00 ранку, а після Літургії зустрічаємося за кавою.

Говоримо просто і відкрито — про Бога, родину, працю, відповідальність, труднощі та життя.

Це не лекція і не чергове засідання.

Це час для чоловіків бути разом і нагадати один одному, що ми не самі у нашій дорозі віри.

Приходьте!

Не потрібно бути членом Knights of Columbus.

Не потрібно знати всі відповіді.

Не потрібно бути «ідеальним католиком».

Просто приходьте.

Помолімося разом.
Вип’ємо кави.
Познайомимося.
Поговорімо про важливе.
Підтримаймо один одного.

Бо віра зростає, коли ми йдемо не самі, а разом.
